Aneto-Posets Grand Trail

Aneto-Posets Grand Trail

The 2025 Aneto-Posets Grand Trail, held from July 17 to 20, was a memorable event that brought together trail runners from around the world in the stunning setting of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park in the Benasque Valley, Huesca. Once again, the event stood out for its challenging nature and the beauty of its landscapes, establishing itself as one of the most important events on the trail running calendar.

The main event, the 105-km Gran Trail with a vertical drop of 6,760 meters, began at midnight on Friday. Runners faced a challenging course that included varied terrain, from tracks and trails to snowfields and bouldering chaos, surrounding the summits of Aneto (3,404 m) and Posets (3,375 m).

In addition to the Gran Trail, the event included other races such as the 55km Vuelta al Aneto, the 42km Maratón de las Tucas, the 28km Vuelta a Cerler, the 9km Vuelta al Molino de Cerler, and the KV Aneto-Posets. Each of these races offered a unique experience, allowing runners to enjoy the alpine landscapes and the rich biodiversity of the natural park.

In the Gran Trail Aneto-Posets, 3,208 runners, 500 volunteers, and millions of meters of elevation gain covered on the different trails were the protagonists of a new edition that has already become a source of inspiration and motivation for trail running adventures in the Benasque Valley.
