Costa Business Group, Plaque of Tourist Merit of Aragon 2023

The Government of Aragon has awarded one of the Plaques of Aragon Tourism Merit 2023 to the Costa Business Group “for its extensive career, including among its various economic activities the tourism sector through the management of SOMMOS Hoteles and Bodegas SOMMOS”.

The awarding of the plaques aims to distinguish actions, entities or people that contribute to positively enhancing the tourist image of Aragon. In addition to the plaques, the Medals of Tourism Merit of Aragon will be awarded, which this 2023 will go to the Folklore Festival of the Pyrenees; to the managing director and secretary of the Santa María d'Albarracín Foundation, Antonio Jiménez Martínez; and posthumously to the innkeeper and owner of Casa Emilio, Emilio Lacambra Manzano.

The awarding of these awards will take place at an event in Alcañiz on November 14. The capital of Baja Aragon will become the epicenter of Aragonese tourism, since the awarding of the Medals and Plaques for Tourism Merit will be accompanied by the annual meeting of the Territorial Tourism Council of the community. Aragon Tourism, the General Directorate of Tourism and representatives of Aragonese local entities with tourism competencies will participate.
